In the medical sector, the Laser MicroJet® is primarily used for the manufacturing of medical devices such as blades, stents, implants, tubes (i.e. cannulae, needles, or endoscopes), as well as integrated circuits used in medical devices.

In particular, medical stents are perfectly machined thanks to the use of a direct-driven rotary axis and a cutting precision of +/- 3 µm.

The manufacturing is performed with no thermal damage or material changes, excellent tolerances and surface finish, high biocompatibility and significantly reduced post-processing.
